To differentiate between natural and man made environment using examples and picture with no more than one error.
Skill
From observing the environment, students will draw four pictures that represent natural and man mde environment with accarcy.
Attitude
Given one reason students ,should be able to recognize the importance of natural resources ,with no more than one error.

Higer order: Environment
Lower order: Natural and man made resources
Generalization
Higer order: Natural resources comes from the earth.
Lower order: Man depends on the environment to supply their needs. Resources may be natural or man made.
Leson content
Define enviroment; Our surroundings
Define natural environment: things that occurs naturally in nature.
Define man made: things that are made by man.
Examples of environment: sun, roads, bus, water, trees, desk, pencils, books, earth, animals, people etc.
Pictures include: earth, flowers, book, mountain, car, road, forest, sea water, tiger, building.
Previous knowledge: Students are aware of man made resources.
Instructional Materials: the environment, pituces
Teaching Strategy: deductive discovery
Concept Development Strategy: listing, grouping, labeling
Social Studies proceses: provide for social participation.
Emphasizing students' activites
Reinforcing relevant concepts

Introduction: Teacher will conduct the game "i spy with my little eye" something that has four legs and cannot walk.
Expected response: chair, table
Teacher will go on until students get the idea of what topic they are going to do.
Expected response: everything around them, the environment
Development
step 1: students will be taken outside to observe everything around them. upon returning to the classroom, teacher will ask students to list as many things as they can remember having seen their surroundings. as they are naming, teacher will write them on the board. For example, buildings, sea water, mountain, trees, fences, roads, sun, clouds, chair, pencils, board, rain, soil, buses and cars.
Step 2: From the first of things they saw, teacher will ask then to observe the list and see if anything can be group together. They suggested which things to be placed in the same group. For example, houses, pencils, books and roads are put together because they are things people made.
Step 3: Having placed them in groups, students will then think of names or label for these groups. Students will look around the class and tell the teacher what they think of these man made resources came from.
Question: Can these things be group togetherr? For example trees, mountain, sea water.
Expected response: Natural environment
Question: What about these? For example building, roads cars
Expectyed response: Man made environment.
Question: Where do we get wood from to make furniture?
Expected response: From nature( the natural environment)
Consolidation: Students will be given pictures of the environment, and then they will place them under the correct group.
Application: Students will draw four natural and four man made aspects of the environments.
