Development
Step 1
Place flash cards with new words on board one at a time. Discuss
pronunciation and the meaning of the words with pupils Teacher says the words then have pupils repeat
Step 2
Have students read words in group individually and then in unison. Allow pupils to use words in sentences orally. Print a few sentences on the board then have pupils read orally.
Step 3
Present sentence strips to class and have [pupils read orally then identify new words from sentences. Student will read sentences in unison individually and in groups.
Closure
Have pupils repeat new words in unison, groups and individually.
